RADIOLOGY
Radiolographs (X-rays) are a safe and painless diagnostic tool that provides images for us to see what is happening inside your pet's body. We use modern technology, such as digital radiology to help us get the best image possible.
WHAT ARE
X-RAYS?
Digital X-Ray technology uses electromagnetic radiation to create images of the inside of your pet's body that can be viewed on a computer, examined in detail, and shared. By using digital X-Rays we are able to reduce radiation by up to 80% compared to traditional film radiology.
DIAGNOSIS
Radiographs provide an important window for looking at internal organs, bones, and joints. It is an excellent tool for diagnosing common illnesses such as pneumonia, bone fractures, arthritis, hip dysplasia, organ enlargement, and more. Can you spot the discolated hip in the image on the right?
